Austin Louis Payne, of Globe, passed away at the age of 45 years old on Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2023. He was known as the Big Tall Deaf Cowboy and was loved by family, coworkers and friends.
He is survived by his two children Westen Tucker and Maddalynn Mary Grace, his mother Tenna, his brother Aaron and his grandmother Velma Tucker, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Austin graduated from the School for the Deaf in Tucson, Arizona. He worked in the Gila County Maintenance Yard.
Austin’s family would like you to join them for an informal Celebration of Life at his grandmother’s home, 1161 N. Stagecoach Trail, Roosevelt, Arizona, on Sunday, Nov. 19, 2023, at 1 p.m. A light lunch will be served.
