Erick D. Moore, 31, of Globe, Arizona, passed away Sept. 27, 2023, after a six-month battle with Stage 3 Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
Erick was born on April 30, 1992, to Leonard Moore and Glorlinda Corolis (Seagroves) in Globe, Arizona. Erick attended Globe High School, where he took an interest in JROTC. After high school, Erick worked as a finishing carpenter for over six years and as a maintenance mechanic for the last two years.
Erick loved to kayak, hike, play airsoft and play video games. Erick also took an interest in nature photography and even had two of his pictures featured on the Arizona Highways website. Erick also loved to travel and go camping with his wife and family.
Erick is preceded in death by his father Leonard Ray Moore, brother Thomas Leonard Moore, aunt Dorothy Marie Bowden and uncle Preston Lee Manues.
Erick is survived by his wife Megan Moore (Chism), his mother Glorlinda Corolis (Seagroves), his brother Tyler Moore and wife Nikki, sister Jami Hazen, stepsisters Emily Shipman and Ella Encizo, 12 nieces and nephews, and his father-in-law Mike Chism and wife Jan.
Services for Erick will be held on Oct. 14, 2023, at 10 a.m. at Lamont Mortuary in Globe, Arizona. Reception to follow at brother’s house.
