Gloria Sanchez Guerrero, age 96, of Globe, Arizona, passed away on June 13, 2023, at Heritage of Globe in Globe, Arizona. She was born in Globe on Oct. 13, 1926, to Alejandro Sanchez and Angelina Troglia.
She spent a lot of her time with family, children and many friends. Gloria was a proud member of her local church, the Holy Angels Catholic Church, as well as the San Francisco Church in the White Mountains. She was also the mother of the “Pinal Termites.” In her downtime, Gloria enjoyed cooking, fishing, and visiting with family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ventura “Benny” Guerrero; her son Carlos Guerrero; brother Bill Sanchez and James Lopez; sisters Mary Alice Zaragoza and Juanita Salazar; and her parents, Alejandro and Angelina Sanchez.
Gloria is survived by her daughters Eledia (Julian) Rodriguez and Olivia Guerrero; son Ben (Anita) Guerrero; sister Catherine Murga; and nine grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 7 1/2 great-great-grandchildren.
Rosary will be held on June 24, 2023, from 9:30 a.m. - 10 a.m. at the Holy Angels Catholic Church in Globe, Arizona.
Mass will be held on June 24, 2023, at 10 a.m. at the Holy Angels beCatholic Church.
Interment will be held at the Old Globe Cemetery in Globe, Arizona.
