Jeff “Big T” Turner Sr., age 56, of Globe passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2023. Jeff was born Feb. 5, 1967, in Phoenix, Arizona to Dean and Susie Turner. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He worked in the Maintenance Department at ASARCO Hayden for 14 years before going to work for Freeport-McMoRan, where he spent the last four years.
He enjoyed fishing, boating, hotrods and riding his Harley! He loved spending time with his family and friends, and was famous for his barbeque.
Jeff is survived by his wife Caroline Turner; children Jamie (Dalton) Gardoni-Smith, Brittany Mabuce, Deborah Sue Gambale, Jeff Gene Turner, Jr., Tara (Brandon) Hawkins and Victoria (T.J.) Ruiz; 14 grandchildren; and brothers Rod Turner and Donald Turner.
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents Dean and Susie Turner.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Elks Lodge, 1910 E. Maple St., Globe, Arizona on Sunday, July 30, 2023, from 3 – 7 p.m.
