Martha Beckstead

Martha Lea Beckstead left her retirement home in Little Rock, Arkansas, on July 7, 2023, to be with her Lord and Savior. She was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the eldest daughter to Odessa Weipert (Pruett) and John Pruett.

Martha was a caring and gifted person who pursued many careers, including the US Air Force, hairdressing and dental hygienist. Martha was an achiever and never failed to tackle new tasks. She was an avid gardener, seamstress, quilter, artist, carpenter and landscaper.

She is survived by one son, Jeremiah Jordan, and his wife, Charlotte; her beloved stepchildren Michael Beckstead, Sherri Orr, John Beckstead, Phillip Beckstead II, Joanna Beckstead, Charles Beckstead and Justin Beckstead; her grandchildren Lucas, Jocelyn and Olivia Jordan; numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; her sisters Terrie Williams (Dean), Debbie Cross (Bill) and Tonja Jacquemin (Terry); and several nephews and her niece. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 25 years, Phillip Beckstead, father John Pruett and beloved son Timothy Jordan.

Services will be held at Lamont Mortuary, 328 S. Hill St., Globe, Arizona, on Oct. 20 at 11 a.m.
