Michael McGinley

Posted

Mike joined God on July 14, 2023. He passed quietly surrounded by family. Mike is survived by his wife Linda, his son Michael Sean (Ina), his daughter Regan (Jim) and his sister Sharon. He is preceded in death by his parents Helen and George, and his brother Pat.

He went to Daniel Boone High School in Birdsboro, Pennsylvania. He spent 6 years in the US Navy, and on the USS Albany. He worked for the Chicago and Northwestern Railroad in Wisconsin for 11 years. He later moved to Globe in 1986 with his family, and he later retired from the Copper Basin Railway as Chief Mechanical Officer.

Mike spent countless hours working on houses. He was a jack of all trades. He was a quiet man but when he said something it made you laugh and was always worth the wait. He loved his family and friends and was always ready to help. Mike put others before himself. He loved boating, camping and having scotch with his friends and family.

I pray everyone has someone special like Mike in their lives. He is the love of my life, my husband, my soulmate, and my best friend.

Memorial services will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2023, at the Train Depot in Globe, Arizona.

Assisting the family; Lamont Mortuary of Globe.
