Patrick Joseph Matney was born on Dec. 6, 1933, and passed away on Oct. 18, 2023. He is preceded in death by his parents William Cushard Matney and Vera May Shine, older brother William Matney Jr., sister Teresa Shaw, younger brother Michael Matney, second wife Kathy, stepdaughter Kim and daughter-in-law Julie. He is survived by his sisters Mary Davis and Alice Matney, children Bill and Joyce, Pat II, Ron, Debbie and Dan Webster, Bob and Marcy, Margaret and Bain Grantham, stepson Rob Whitney and Wendy, 17 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Pat was quite a flirt. Never knew a stranger. Had a song and a story for everyone, ’til the day he died. He had many friends and family who loved him. He will be missed. Rest in peace, Dad.
Services are held as a private family affair.
