Terrance C. (Terry) McGraw, age 76, of Globe, Arizona, went to be with his Savior, Jesus Christ, on Aug. 24, 2023, at his home in Globe. Terry was born on May 27, 1947, to Charles and Helen (Krueger) McGraw in Deming, New Mexico. He grew up in Deming, graduated from Deming High School in 1965 and later went on to graduate from Western New Mexico University in Silver City with a baccalaureate degree in chemistry.

Terry met Lydia Mann in Indiana. He married her in Surry, Maine, in an outdoor wedding in the eye of a hurricane. Together they raised two children, Erin and Patrick. He began his career in analytical chemistry at the lab in Tucson. After 10 years, he transferred to Inspiration Copper in Globe, completing his career in 2016 at Freeport McMoRan. 

Terry loved his wife and children. He loved to read his Bible, to travel and to interact with others, including his friends at the Maranatha Baptist Church, where he was a deacon and Bible club leader.

He is preceded in death by his father, Charles F. McGraw, and his mother, Helen McGraw. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Lydia McGraw; his daughter, Erin (Roger) of Phoenix, Arizona; his son Patrick (Samara) of Glendale, Arizona; two grandsons, Ian and Illiam; his sister Theresa Green (Green) of Las Cruces, New Mexico; and a niece, Nikki, and a nephew, Ryan.

Services were held Sept. 16, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Maranatha Baptist Church in Globe. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Maranatha Baptist Church.
