Hayden man sentenced to life for sex crimes

Gila County Attorney Bradley D. Beauchamp announced that on Feb. 23, 2015, 47-year-old Hayden resident Arthur James Quintana, Jr., also known as Arthur Bracamonte Quintana, Jr., was sentenced by the Honorable Gary V. Scales to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole for 35 calendar years following his conviction of Sexual Conduct with a Minor.

Globe -- Gila County Attorney Bradley D. Beauchamp announced that on Feb. 23, 2015, the Honorable Gary Scales sentenced 37-year-old New Mexico resident Amber Carlson to 10 years in the custody of the Arizona Department of Corrections for her role in transporting six pounds of methamphetamine.

Union ‘shocked’ by Asarco layoffs

Tucson -- KVOA Channel 4 in Tucson reported Monday that one of Southern Arizona's biggest employers has announced layoffs.
