Globe Council hires City Attorney

Globe — Attorney at Law, William J. Sims III, was hired by a unanimous vote at Globe City Council’s Monday night meeting. Sims had been serving as interim attorney for the past few weeks.

Although Sims actually lives in Phoenix and has an office on North Central, he brings a lot of experience in small town affairs, as he also serves as attorney for Safford, Camp Verde, and Jerome. The contract was actually with the firm of Sims and Murray, but he promised the council he personally will be taking care of Globe’s affairs.
