Miami Homecoming will take place this Friday

Miami — After some back and forth, Miami High School has confirmed that Miami Homecoming events will take place this Friday, Oct. 6 as originally scheduled.

The Homecoming game will be played on Friday, Oct. 6 at 7 p.m. at Ragus Stadium against San Carlos, pending a decision from San Carlos High School. If the San Carlos team is unable to show, “Plan B” festivities will then invite fans out onto the field for different games and events.

The Homecoming parade will start at 1 p.m. on Friday in downtown Miami along the Sullivan Street route as usual. The parade will showcase the teams, MHS band, MHS spiritline, the class floats, as well as a number of other entries.
