Superior — Officials of the Resolution Copper Company have submitted a plan of operations to the Tonto National Forest which reveals the company is planning to complete 135 MT Geophysical Survey stations using existing roads in national forest lands east of Superior. The area for the Magnetolelluric Survey involves 25 sections of land encompassing some 16,000 acres.
The Tonto National Forest says it is preparing a Decision Memo on the Resolution Copper Survey project and the agency’s proposed action description. This and other information is available for review at the Globe Ranger Station at 7680 S. Six Shooter Canyon Road in Globe. Public comments are being accepted by the Tonto National Forest for 15 calendar days following the Nov. 7 publication of its legal notice on the matter.
