Globe ― Terri Childers has been fighting neuroendocrine carcinoma cancer for four years now. Her first fight with cancer was hard-fought. The cancer had spread to many parts of her body, resulting in months of chemotherapy treatment as well as surgery to have the cancer removed where possible. All the while, Terri continued to work at her job with the Gila County Sheriff’s Office, where she has been employed for over nine years with the medical unit.
