Miami Veterans’ project is source of contention

Miami — Councilman Darryl Dalley’s Veterans Memorial project proved to be a source of contention at Monday night’s Miami Town Council meeting.

Dalley, a disabled veteran who retired from the U.S. Army, came before the board to request permission to remove two flag poles, a tree and a sign at the site of his proposed Veterans Memorial Park.
