BHP: ‘Pinto Valley Mine has restarted’

Miami — The Pinto Valley Copper Mine has officially restarted on 5,000 acres of privately-owned land west of the town Miami. Mine owner BHP Billiton made the announcement.

The company also said the open pit mine and concentrator were ramping up into production with the majority of the mining fleet on site.
