Woman survives after being dumped into garbage truck

Firefighters from Globe and Canyon Fire Departments work to save a 38-year-old woman’s life after she is pulled from the back of a sanitation truck.

Globe — The Globe Fire Department was dispatched to the parking lot of the DES office on Monroe Street on the morning of Wednesday, June 19 in response to a person trapped inside a sanitation truck. A Copper State Sanitation truck pulled into the parking lot to make another dump when a bystander heard a voice and saw a head pop out from the top of the truck.
