GHS cross country team braves elements in Thatcher

Thatcher -- We traveled to Thatcher for a very tough race on Wednesday, Sept. 17. Our athletes raced in cooler temperatures, high humidity, light to heavy rain and mud.
Despite these weather conditions, our athletes did the best that they could.

Globe -- The Globe volleyball team lost two matches last week.
First was a 3-0 loss to San Carlos on Sept. 9. Jenika Garcia had nine attacks and one kill, while Jerrica Hatch had 15 sets.
The JV team beat San Carlos 2-0. Devera Escobedo had four aces, and Hailey Williams contributed an ace and seven sets.
