To be ‘DH’: Dedicated and Hardworking (aka Dennis Hull)

MHS senior Dennis Hull is the second student in Miami High School’s history to be selected as an AIA Student of the Year, making Miami the only Arizona high school in the history of the award to have graduated two AIA Students of the Year. Hull has also been selected to the U.S. Air Force Academy, where he will report at the end of June.

Miami ― Miami High senior Dennis Hull has a long list of impressive awards for his young age ― AIA All-Division III Player of the Year in soccer, Mock Trial awards, Honor Roll, Valedictorian, just to name a few ― and the list just got longer with last week’s announcement that for the second time in just three years, the Arizona Interscholastic Association chose a scholar athlete from Miami High School as AIA Student of the Year. Dennis Hull, together with 2011 graduate Riley Mawson, made history for Miami High School, making it the only school of any size in Arizona to have two students chosen for this prestigious state award
