Posted: Tuesday, Oct 1st, 2013

The Tigers’ offense prepares before their game against Tanque Verde on Friday, Sept. 27. Globe scored a season high 43 points against the Hawks. The Tigers have won two in a row and improved their record to 2-3.

Globe — The Tigers had an offensive explosion on Friday, beating Tanque Verde 43-8 and winning their second game in a row.

Once again the offense was led by junior quarterback Joseph Burk and junior running back Brodie Dalle Nogare.

They scored every Tiger touchdown and combined for 257 yards rushing.

By the fourth quarter, head coach Al Ocampo had the most of the starters out of the game.

“The kids played better tonight,” Ocampo said. “We're getting better. It’s taking some time for the offense to come around. Any time you win can be a momentum booster."

The Tigers got off to a fast start. On the second play of their first drive Dalle Nogare rushed for a 60-yard touchdown to make it 6-0; the extra point was blocked.

After the Hawks fumbled the kick-off return, the Tigers would recover on the Tanque Verde 26 yard-line.
