Ola Davis, age 89 of Tucson, Ariz., passed away on Nov. 25, 2012 at Casa De La Luz Hospice. She was born in San Carlos, Ariz. on Jan. 15, 1923, the daughter of Maude and Alfred Cassadore.
Ola worked as an activist for the Apache Survival Coalition. She enjoyed beadwork and storytelling.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Maude and Alfred Cassadore; her first husband, Paul Waterman; and daughter, Pauline J. Adams.
Ola is survived by her husband, Michael Davis of Tucson; son, McBride Waterman (Susan) of Tucson; daughters, Carol J. Hanvantewa of Second Mesa, Ariz., Janie Oliver (Carl) of Fresno, Calif., Myrtle R. Deswood (Luke) of Window Rock, Ariz. and Ola F. Cortez of Tucson; and son, Eldred Waterman of Tucson, Ariz.
Wake was on Friday, Nov. 30, 2012 at the Pansy Cassadore Residence.
Funeral Services were held on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012 at 10 a.m. at the LDS Church in San Carlos. Interment was at upper Peridot Cemetery.
