Johnny Herrera Flores, age 70, passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2013 in Mesa, Ariz. Johnny was a lifelong Miami resident.
His hobbies included hunting, fishing, and ranching with his friends. He loved to spend his summers in the White Mountains.
Johnny enjoyed his family, especially his grandchildren. He loved Arizona sports teams until his last day. He was also a huge fan of Western movies and his novellas.
Johnny Flores is survived by his wife, Ramona Flores of Miami; his daughters, Patricia Flores of Carson, Calif., Susanna (Bob) Hollis of Globe, Ariz., Yolanda Flores of Florence, Ariz., Christina Mariscal of Florence, Ariz.; his son, Johnny C. (Dora) Flores Jr. of Mesa, Ariz.; and his sister, Maria (Hector “Manuel”) Mariscal of Miami, Ariz.
Johnny Flores was preceded in death by his mother and father, Pablo and Vicenta Flores; brothers and sister, Joe Flores, Paul Flores, Gloria Gay; and one grandson, Christian Ramirez.
Visitations were held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, April 28, 2013, at Miles Funeral Services Miami, 309 W. Live Oak St., Miami, Ariz., and Monday, April 29, 2013, at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church, 844 W. Sullivan St., Miami, Ariz.
Rosary was held at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, April 29 at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church, Miami, Ariz. Funeral services followed at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament.
Interment at Mountain Breeze Memorial Gardens.
