We would like to thank Father Jay Luczak, from Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament,for answering our request of short notice to Baptize Our Son! He did so without any qualms. He opened the Church and gave us a Beautiful Rite!

Richard Shaw's letter about Globe police officer A.J. Castaneda in the May 29 Copper Country News was spot-on. A.J.'s dad was a great cop, and he passed that on to A.J.
I grew up with A.J., and in addition to being a great cop, he is a great leader and a great father. A.J. possesses many special qualities.

These are four things that have no place in government or non-profit groups.
Graft, a form of political corruption, is the unscrupulous use of a politician's authority for personal gain.
Abuse of Power is improper use of authority by someone who has that authority because he or she holds a public office or position.
