Hinton, Rope say thank you for support

Dear Editor,

On behalf of my sister, Rose Rope, we would like to express our appreciation to everyone who supported our “Holy pilgrimage” by attending our banquet that was held on June 2, 2012.

Also to everyone that donated items that were on the raffle tickets and to all who purchased raffle tickets. See raffle winners below.

We would like to thank everyone who made this banquet and raffle possible; those who put in long hours of cooking preparing the meal despite of the heat, those who sold the raffle tickets – especially my father Pastor Evan Rope (who sold the most) as well all of my family and church members, also those who helped out during the banquet with decorations and serving the meals.

A special appreciation to the Bylas Council Members Martha Baylish and Jonathan Kitcheyan, Chairman Terry Rambler, the San Carlos/Bylas Veteran’s Group, Miss Mt. Turnbull Mariah Rope and Jr. Miss Mt. Turnbull Savana Talgo.

We also express our token of appreciation to the following who gave their testimonies and shared songs with us during the banquet: Pastor Evans Rope, Sr., Guitarist Steven Goseyun, Pastor Floyd Dosela, Rulah Dosela, Curtis Rope, Sara Rope, Sketter Pike, Emmerson Baylish, Evangelist Adrian Rivera, Evangelist Maggie Harrina, Evangelist Myra Hunter, Evangelist Mabeline Talgo and Olivar Talgo, Evangelist Peter Antonio, Sister Shirley Adams and son Isaiah Adams, Merceline Anderson and Evangelist Florine Jones. Appreciation recognition goes to Apache Gold Casino for the use of their spindle that we used during the raffle drawing as well.

We also appreciated Bishop Cody Henry for bringing forth the wonderful Word of God to us during the banquet.

The funds raised were not enough to cover our two travel payments, but it was enough to cover for a partial payment for the cost of $2,600. Therefore, we will be doing other fundraisers in the near future since we have until Aug. 20, 2012 to pay in full for our desired trip.

Once again, please accept our sincere appreciation to all who attended our banquet on Saturday, June 2, 2012 and to all who purchased our raffle tickets. Your generosity and kindness will greatly be remembered and may the good Lord be with you and your families.
