Claypool — Freeport-McMoRan will once again hold Fourth of July fireworks this year. The fireworks will begin at about 9 p.m. at the tailings across from Walmart. Prior to the fireworks, start your 4th of July holiday with a patriotic parade in downtown Globe at 8:45 a.m. At 11 a.m. the Centennial Festival at the Globe Community Center will offer BBQ lunch served by the Legion Riders, a jumping castle for the kids courtesy of Globe Skating Rink, and a live performance by Grey Wolf. Come join in the celebration.
