Decatur, Alabama — Globe resident Andy Bravence recently placed 10th overall, and was the top angler from the Western states, at the 2012 Cabela’s Bassmaster Federation Nation Championship held at Wheeler Lake in Decatur, Ala. When not fishing the lakes, Bravence is an underground mine superintendent. He is a member of the Del Norte Bass Anglers and is sponsored by M&S Marine, Bellamark Realty, and Team Lynette.
