Globe schools focus on science and technology

Globe — Globe School District Superintendent Jerry Jennex told the school district board of directors last week that he has been working on a grant from the Arizona Science Foundation to promote science, technology, engineering and math activities in the district. He told the board that he plans to ask for $45,000 over the next three years to develop a FIRST robotics team in the high school.
