12-year-old boy wounded in accidental shooting

Wheatfields ― On Thursday, Dec. 13, at approximately 10 p.m., Gila County Sheriff’s deputies responded to an emergency in which a 12-year-old boy was critically wounded when a gun went off. Upon arrival, deputies found the boy to be seriously injured but responsive. According to first reports, the wound appeared to be a gunshot wound.
