Man commits suicide in ER

Globe — An unidentified man died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound near the Emergency Room entrance of Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center early Friday evening. On Friday at 5:07 p.m., Globe Police received a 911 call from CVRMC staff about a man who had entered the emergency room lobby and was shooting a weapon. In addition to Globe Police officers, officers from the Department of Public Safety and Deputies from the Gila County Sheriff’s Office also responded.
