Minnie Ordorica, 78, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, at Holly Home in Globe, Ariz. She was born in Miami, Ariz. on July 23, 1934, the daughter of Bessie (Ramirez) and Alfredo T. Ordorica.
Minnie lost her mother Bessie as a small child and was lovingly raised by Alfredo’s second wife, Maria Luisa De Alba Ordorica. Minnie was an active member of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament in Miami, Ariz. She loved cleaning, collecting her many knickknacks and Santa Claus.
Minnie had a huge heart and would help anyone in need. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bessie, Alfredo and Maria Luisa Ordorica; sister, Toni Tryon and brother, Gabriel Ordorica.
Minnie leaves behind in loving memory four brothers, Freddie Ordorica and his wife, Betty, of Mammoth, Ariz., John “Jimmy” Ordorica of Apache Junction, Ariz., Frank Ordorica of Miami, Ariz. and Albert “Mike” Ordorica and his wife, Jenni; two sisters, Mary Salcido and her husband, Ralph, of Globe, Ariz. and Sylvia Baca and her husband, William, of Miami, Ariz.; numerous nieces and nephew and many friends. Visitation will be held at 9 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 18, 2013 at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament, 844 W. Sullivan St., Miami, Ariz. Rosary followed at 9:30 a.m. with Mass at 10 a.m., both at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament, Miami, Arizona.
Interment at Globe Cemetery, Hackney Avenue, Globe, Ariz.
Funeral arrangements for Minnie Ordorica were entrusted to Miles Funeral Services Globe.
