Humane Society thanks Liquor Stable

Dear Editor:

The High Desert Humane Society would like to thank Janice and her helpers at the Liquor Stable for preparing $1 tacos during football season again this year. (And what delicious tacos they are).

The proceeds from the tacos benefit the Humane Society. This is the fifth year they have done this for us and this year Janice presented us with more than $2,400 in pet food, veterinary assistance and gift cards for our pets.

What a great group of people to do this for us. We also thank their patrons for supporting this effort. We all look forward to the next football season.
