Dear Editor:
We would like to thank all of the Globe-Miami community, family and friends for all their thoughts, prayers and contributions for Adriana Madrid through this difficult time as she was diagnosed with stage IV Neuroblastoma this past summer.
Nothing has gone unnoticed and it has all helped in making Adriana a happy little girl while going through this difficult time in her young life. She is a loving, beautiful 3-year-old little girl who is funny and has a never-quit-attitude and a happy, contagious spirit.
The community support has been overwhelming. Words cannot express how grateful we are and we wanted to express to all that we have not forgotten your kindness. Adriana is doing well and is still in good spirits. She has finished her six months of chemotherapy, has had surgery to remove the tumors and is getting ready for transplant later this month.
We ask everyone to keep Adriana in your prayers while she goes through this next stage on her way to recovery.
Thank you. Sincerely, Armando Franco (Iliana), Cherilyn Franco (Eric), & Papa Memo Franco
