San Carlos — The Department of Economic Security (DES) office located in San Carlos has closed its doors. This has caused a hardship on our San Carlos Apache Community, being that the nearest office is located in Globe, Ariz., 22 miles away. Most of our community members don’t even own a vehicle to travel the necessary distance to meet the needs of their household. See this week's Moccasin for schedule of Transit.
