This is in response to the letter written by Bethel Bennett. In all fairness to the letter written by Mr. Moss, we must examine the era we are living in now.
The world is much more sophisticated now. Everything is more modern and up-to-date. For example: the Log Cabin has been replaced with 2 or 3 story homes; the covered wagons have been replaced with cars that run with gas and if we can afford one, by electricity. Stage coaches were replaced with airplanes, cars, buses, etc. You get the idea!
The handgun is sufficient for home security. Weapons that shoot like machine guns and are being sold to a person with psychological problems should not be on display to tempt a buyer without proper identification.
Hold gun dealers responsible for sale of these weapons that will fire from 30 to 100 rounds in seconds or minutes.
Keep the innocent victims safe. They are not in battle gear and need to be reassured that they are safe to come and go at will. God bless us one and all.
A concerned citizen.
