Armer reflects on 44-year career in law enforcement

Globe — John Armer retired as Gila County Sheriff on Dec. 31, 2012, ending a 12-year run as sheriff and a 44-year career in law enforcement.

Armer’s undersheriff, Adam Shepherd, took over as sheriff on Jan. 1.
