Tensions run high over Miami beautification projects

Miami — A proposal to make some changes in Miami’s Veterans Memorial Park on Sullivan Street drew a packed house during Monday’s town council meeting. The proposal was originally introduced as a way to improve the park in order to accommodate an updated version of the memorial to honor veterans.

Councilman Darryl Dalley has been promoting a new addition to the park for several months.
