Supervisors hold hearing on auto race track

Globe — There was lively discussion at the Gila County Board of Supervisor’s work session on Tuesday, Jan. 29 concerning a proposed automobile race track at the Gila County Fairgrounds. A proposal was submitted by John McGinley of MAXTRAX in Scottsdale to design, construct, and manage an asphalt automobile race track for the Gila County Industrial Development Authority, which has been working on the idea for several years.
