Superior — There is more to the story about the Town of Superior walking away from its original agreement to purchase 550 acres of Tonto Forest lands for municipal purposes, mainly because the town of Superior didn’t have the finances and was in a budget crisis.
It has been learned by the Arizona Silver Belt that the Mutual Benefits Agreement just canceled by the Superior Town Council, entered into several years ago with Resolution Copper Company, included several interesting options the town could consider.
