Globe City Council working with partners in the community

Globe — Several entities in the Globe community were in front of the Globe City Council on Monday asking to partner with the city on various issues.

In a first reading, the council was impressed with the agreement between the Globe Unified School District and the City of Globe for joint use of facilities. City Manager Brent Billingsley said this agreement goes to a new level of cooperation, one that will save both government bodies a lot of money because of the shared use of facilities.
