Miami — The Town of Miami is one step closer to having a modern sewer system after Monday night’s council meeting. The town created a Municipal Property Corporation, a non-profit organization whose purpose is to act as a conduit between town money and grant money. The town is slated to receive $958,230 in USDA loans to fund the project, while another estimated $4 million will come in the form of grants.
