Globe — At a work session meeting on Monday evening, the Globe City Council discussed the next city election, which because of legislation passed by the state legislature will need to be changed.
Currently, city elections are held in March and May of even years and the city administers its own Vote by Mail elections. But in 2012, the state legislature passed HB 2826, which mandates that all municipal elections be held in August and November.
