Local fire departments aid in Parker Canyon rope rescue

Gila County — On Wednesday, March 13, at approximately 4:20 p.m., the Globe Fire Department, in conjunction with Canyon Fire District, responded to a reported technical rescue call in the area of Parker Canyon. It was reported that a 34-year-old male had suffered a serious fall in the canyon while rappelling.
