Dwight Cooper, age 71, passed away peacefully with friends and family by his side on April 11, 2013 in Apache Junction, Ariz. He was born Aug. 22, 1941 in Globe.
Dwight graduated from Globe High School and spent his entire life on the HayHook Ranch at Roosevelt, Ariz. as a third generation rancher.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Phoebe (Cluff) Cooper. Dwight is survived by his sisters, Betty Smyers of Globe, and Velma Tucker (Leroy) of Roosevelt; his twin, Aileen Holiday (John) of Cortez, Colo.; eight nieces and nephews; his children, Rainy Teegerstrom (Trent) of Tucson and their son, Davin; Tesse Copeland (Larry) of Cortez, Colo. and their children, Morgan Langley, Rebecca Copeland and Byron Haught; Ty Cooper-Jenkins (Sam) of Globe and their children, Tyler (Cooper) and husband Ivan Rameriz, Filaree Otis, Karlyn Jenkins, Reevis and Casper; and Shane Cooper-Manista (Ali) of Payson, and their children Charlotte and Lorelie.
There will be a gathering of friends and family at 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 20 at the HayHook Ranch in Roosevelt to share memories and say goodbye.
