Timothy Alfonso Salazar, Jr., age 44, of Globe, Ariz., was called home to be with his Heavenly Father, on Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013, in Globe.
Timothy was born on Oct. 25, 1968, in Laramie, Wyo., to Timothy A. Salazar, Sr., and Janie Gutierrez Ruiz. He worked as a landscaper and a baker throughout his life. He loved rock collecting, playing video games, spending time with family, playing and joking around, collecting Hot Wheels, and playing jokes on people. Throughout his life he has lived in Cheyenne, San Marcos, Yuma, and Globe.
Timothy was preceded in death by his father, Timothy A. Salazar, Sr.; brother, Michael Daniel; his only sister-in-law, Rolinda Cruz Chavez; his Uncle Jeff, maternal grandparents, Guadalupe and Guadalupe Gutierrez; paternal grandparents, Joe Alfonso and Delfina Salazar; and his pal “Kako.”
Timothy leaves behind in loving memory his wife, Sarah Chavez Salazar; children, Juanita “Toni”, Joshua and Michael; mother, Janie Gutierrez Ruiz; brothers, Gabriel (Christina), Adam (Stacy), Gilbert, and Jacob (Jessica); and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013 at 3 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Globe 1st Ward, Globe, Ariz. 85501
Memorial donations are suggested to his wife and children. Please do not wear black clothing to the Celebration of Life, but wear colorful clothing.
