Claypool — A 29-year-old man has been charged with armed robbery and possession of drug paraphernalia, and is being held on $25,000 bond, after allegedly holding up the Claypool Circle K early Tuesday morning.
About 3:20 a.m. Thursday, the Gila County Sheriff’s Office received a call from the manager of the Claypool Circle K, who reported that a robbery was in progress.
The manager reported that while two employees were cleaning the store, an individual, who authorities believe to be 29-year-old Joseph Samuel Bullis, walked by them and said, “hey, this is a stick-up.”
The two employees and one customer hid in the walk-in cooler and called 911. For the complete article see the 10-30-2013 issue.
