Globe — Saturday’s Ghosts of Globe walking tour, the annual tribute to the ghosts of downtown Globe, was one of the best.
The event’s costumed guides told stories about the town’s veiled past with just a few hints and innuendos to delight the audience who braved the dark streets.
The tour started with the darkened old county jail, where the spirits of many are said to utter unworldly noises.
Some of the more timid among us cheated by using our cell phones as flashlights.
Visitors were ushered across the cat walk into the historic court house — a route so many people trod on their way to justice, or injustice, depending on the integrity of those who served.
