Unbelievable. For the first time since I’ve lived in Globe, Jim Moss sends a letter to the newspapers and I agree with everything he says. Then you print a letter from Steven Smith quoting and citing a “document” that he infers is actually the law called the Affordable Care Act, or “Obamacare.”
Does he believe the people in the Globe/Miami area would accept at face value that the document he cites is actually the law that was passed by the Senate and House of Representatives, signed by the President, and held to be Constitutional by the Supreme Court?
Or does he believe that people in the Globe/Miami area are so gullible that they would not look up the document on the website that he references and see that it is actually a bill (not a law) that was introduced in the House and never even voted on, let alone passed? It bears virtually no resemblance to the content of the real Obamacare.
This is the kind of misinformation/disinformation that gives conservative Republicans and Tea Party conservatives a bad name. Shame on you, Mr. Smith.
