Lenox named 2013 Citizen of the Year

Myrna Lenox (second from left) was named the 2013 Citizen Year of the Year at a special dinner at Dream Manor Inn on Friday evening. Globe — Myrna Lenox was named the 2013 Citizen of the Year at a special dinner held at the Dream Manor Inn on Friday evening. The Citizen of the Year is awarded every year by the Globe-Miami Chamber of Commerce.

Jim Childers, the president of the Chamber of the Commerce and the head of the Citizen of the Year committee, praised Lenox’s work with the Copper Cities Rotary Club, the Gila County Diving Group, the Globe-Miami Memorial Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, the Bullion Plaza Cultural Center and Museum, and the Canyon Water Improvement District.
