Globe — The Globe Unified School District will maintain a schedule similar to this past school year, according to Superintendent Jerry Jennex.
Jennex said he met with district administrators to determine whether staggering opening and dismissal times among the three school buildings would relieve some of the transportation woes. Jennex said the group concluded that a schedule change would not make enough of a difference to merit the inconvenience to parents and families.
Instead, administrators hope that new computer software designed to more efficiently track whether and when students have boarded the bus will solve many of the problems.
