Globe — At its meeting on July 15, the Gila County Board of Supervisors approved the 2014-15 budget.
The balanced budget is for $94.4 million and represents a 1.2 percent reduction from the 2013-14 budget. Regarding staffing, more than nine Full-Time Equivalents have been eliminated. The largest decrease comes in the General Fund, which loses $1.8 million from last year.
