Hayden — Andrew Taplin, Project Director for the Superior-based Resolution Mining Company, recently appeared before the Hayden Town Council and briefly discussed what is going on with the company’s proposed $6 million underground copper mine northeast of the Town of Superior. Here is some of what he told the community leaders of Hayden:
“Let me discuss the highlights of what’s been happening at Resolution Copper. Our most important development is that, in November of last year, we filed our Mine Plan of Operations with the U.S. Forest Service. Filing is a crucial step toward obtaining necessary permits for the mine.
